The War Within - Winning the War Within

Winning the War Within is Book 11 of the Kingdom Discipleship Series and brings the series’ teaching on temperament, the flesh, and spiritual formation to its conclusion. Written in clear, accessible language for both new and growing believers, this guide asks the question the previous books have been building toward: What does it actually look like to win the war within? Centered on James 1:23–26, readers are challenged to move beyond simply hearing the Word and become disciples who continue in it and do what it reveals. Along the way, the study explores Scripture’s own pictures of the Word as mirror, sword, lamp, light, fire, and hammer, showing how God uses His Word to expose, discern, guide, refine, and break what does not belong. The goal is not simply more biblical knowledge, but a disciple whose senses have been trained by the Word to recognize good and evil and respond in obedience when the moment comes.
